to ease your transition from IIS/Win32 to Apache/Linux,
you can get the Apache Win32 version for your Win2K
platform
at http://httpd.apache.org/docs/windows.html
once installed, move your documents to apache's html
directory and shutdown IIS to shutup its holes.
apache win32 may have some bugs or vulnerabilities but none
directly equivalent to those currently exploited on IIS
today. then when your're comfortable with Apache, try
linux natively with apache and retire your win32 machine.
