Hi Rowel,

Would you happen to know what were the problems encountered in using firewire? I
have a firewire card (ads pyro) and I use it for capturing video from dv cams.
Just haven't had the time to configure it in linux (use it on windows).

Anyone from the list who has played around with firewire cards? How about
maxtors 80Gb (or even the 40Gb version) external firewire harddisk?
