"better" being relative. Others look for security, whereas others look for ease of maintenance, and yet others look for extensibility and scalability. I've tried sendmail, postfix, and experimented a bit with qmail, and found (imho) sendmail/postfix to be easier to configure and maintain. I've really yet to play around with qmail, though, to be able to say that for sure. Adding amavis to postfix sometime ago (1 year? 2 years?) wasn't exactly easy -- it was easier to configure with sendmail (perhaps because the developers were deploying for that then?). My take, as with topics in distros, editors, et al -- try out one and play around with it all you like. Use the one that suits your needs or works for you. :) -------------------------------------- Gino LV.
