I was thinking that perhaps it might be time for the different PLUG regulars to "decloak" and give the rest of us Linux loving crazies an idea what Serious Fun(tm) we use Linux for.
PLUG can then have a Showcase Page at the PLUG website that features the different things that Real Pidros(tm) like you and me actually use Linux for. If we want to present a good case for Linux in the different arenas, then we might as well provide examples of how Linux and Free or Open Source Software is actually being used in the real world. For a lot of us, it may just be an environment which we just love to work in, but for some, Linux and FS/OS provide solutions to real problems. These solutions might be the proof of concept that some people outside our community need to see before they can be convinced to even test Linux for themselves. The whole idea of using Linux as a solution might just be mind boggling to them because they are not aware of how Linux has been used elsewhere to provide solutions. Speak up (or rather, write up) and be recognized. :) Share your war stories here. -xen pahabol sulat.
