It's like this -> anything that does not get installed automatically by the default configuration of a distro has to be done manually. This can be computed simply by man hours, and depends on how much a consultant charges for his time. Stuff like mail, ftp, http, ssh come as defaults in a linux box. So the basic price of 3-5K may apply.
