#_ Probably. More proof that the Gartner Group was wise in recommending
#_ everyone stop using IIS and being a victim of all its brain damages.
#_
#_ Arguably, it might be possible to mount a class action lawsuit on
#_ Microsoft for this, similar to the lawsuit Firestone found itself in
#_ after accidents occurred when using their tires. The HTTP requests
#_ generated by Nimda and Code Red, and those that are used by script
#_ kiddies to attack an IIS site are all perfectly valid requests
#_ according to RFC 2616, so these worms and script kiddies are using
#_ the web server as it was intended to be used. But IIS doesn't do the
#_ right thing and say 404 Not Found. Instead, it hands control of the
#_ whole system to whoever or whatever fed it that HTTP request...

I don't think you can sue microsoft for that IIS blunder. If you read
the fine print in the license it says the software comes with NO
warranties. And you don't even own the software, microsoft still owns
it, you just have a license to use it.
