Hi. I'm currently writing an article series on the open source movement for a local IT publication. I'd like to solicit, from this group, opinions, stories, anecdotes, projects, whatnot, on local open source software development, both educational or corporate setting, or as freelance / hobby. Opinion on the Filipino hacker ethic are also welcome. (Please, not the destructive "cracker" or "virus" kind.) You can send these directly to my e-mail address.
On the side, contributions are also welcome for a local repository for Pinoy open source software, codenamed Panday.Net. It will initially contain projects meant for "Filipinization" of currently stable releases of international applications, such as Philippine payroll modules for SQL Ledger Accounting. If you are willing to contribute for these, please let us know. Thanks! J A Y C E _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
