There are and probably always will be articles about Linux's unreadiness
for the desktop, and anecdotes are easy to come by. 

Pfft. I'd already written a pretty long reply to the article when I
looked through the talkbacks, and whadyaknow? Quite an interesting
discussion they're having there.
