For MTA-level screening you can use AMaViS plus something like McAfee's
uvscan or Sophos sweep or something like that. On the firewall, though,
you'll need an anti-virus program like (off the top of my head) Trend
VirusWall which is not a standard "file sweeping" type anti-virus. I'm not
sure but I think Kaspersky also has some sort of firewall virus scanner.
And you can use Kaspersky Anti-Virus with your MTA, too, without the need
for AMaViS. The benefit with Kaspersky Anti-Virus is you get daily (AFAIR)
updates. :)

I don't use anything that fancy, though. A simple Postfix + AMaViS +
uvscan works fine for our needs (and besides, we can't afford anything
better [ie: Kaspersky]).
