Correct me if I'm wrong with my understanding regarding this thread (it all started with Edsamail for Linux to UUCP), you (Migs) were the one who suggested an idea to develop a some sort of an "Edsamail for Linux" specifically for PLUG members to cater the e-mail needs. And we come up the major problem and that is - "who will shoulder the bandwidth?" Since we don't have that, Ian Sison suggested to have a sort of a cooperative. Right there, Danny Escasa shared his ideas how difficult to organize a cooperative and I know that in the first place. And that's the time I open up the additional fee in order for us to shoulder the major operating expenses. But if there is a best way that we can acquire free e-mail services specifically for the PLUG mailing lists, siguro naman wala ng kokontra dito! =) >anyway, before we talk about the economics, how about setting up a peer-to-peer >UUCP network for PLUG members, without an Internet upstream?
