I found this on www.pinoypc.net on this thread:
http://forums.pinoypc.net/viewthread.php?p=1&segmentid=7&id=7862

Anyway, you're supposed to look for the "profile.dat" file in your
EDSAMAIL install directory. Open "profile.dat" with this file:

http://tara.mozcom.com/edsa.zip

(I just got it from somewhere else, it has no viruses according to Sophos
with the v351 IDEs).

Then, look for the "ts_name" and "ts_password" strings, these are the DUN
dialup username and password.

There also is an "es_username" and "es_password" -- I suppose these are
the email (POP3 maybe) usernames and passwords.

In any case, I have not tried this out. Maybe when I get home. If someone
gets this working on Linux, that would be great! (OTOH if it works then
that's a way of circumventing Edsamail's intrusive ads).

N.B. this workaround was posted as a way to get Edsamail working under
Win2k. Right now in order to use Edsamail under Win2k you have to have
another dialup account and be connected.
