#_ Does anyone know an easy way to type "enye" (, ) in Linux? Usually
#_ in window$ it can be done by alt-164 or alt-165. Now in Linux I have
#_ to type `man ISO_8859-1` then copy and paste it.

In console mode:

Alt-0241 will give you (you can also ommit the first 0)
Alt-0209 will give you (you can also ommit the first 0)

I have never been able to do the same in X; even in the xterm or rxvt.
