you don't need to have a CS degree in faux parchment hanging on your wall to be a computer scientist. I think anyone who thinks about the underlying fundamentals (e.g. mathematics) about their coding is on their way or can be stated to be a computer scientist. that said, we need to focus the list on programming, algorithms, OO, structures etc. and not libraries, system calls, and other language-specific details. _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
