Team effort vs. solo flight: They have their advantages, and disadvantages. For one, when a team gets to be big enough (three?) the "coordination" aspect rears its ugly head, and pretty soon, you end up simply "coordinating" which simply sucks. Think: Team Manager (administrative, endless pointless meetings, corporate, political, managerial, sh&t assignments) vs. Senior Hacker (cool, focused on fun, doing the fun fun jobs). IMHO, A team of two for me is big enough, and productive enough, for assignments that the "team" can scale to, most especially if the two in the team know each other's guts inside out. Both can be enjoying the fun of their work rather than be caught up in meetings and coordination tasks. _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
