it is a "known unofficial" fact that the stable releases of RH are the  "
x.2" (i.e. 4.2, 5.2,6.2 ).

its a strategy, they give you bleeding edge for the x.0 so people would try
it
then they release fixes in "x.1" then give you the final "stable" product in
release "x.2"

thank  rh you are using glibc ..  if not for their crappy releases you still
be using libc  (rh 5.0)
