Just need some clarifications, on the following scenarios, the same router is used but different subnets are involved, the load is the same, and there are 2500 users, no vlan involved.
1. using ten of the subnets in 10.1.0.0/255.255.255.0 2. using an unsubnetted 10.0.0.0/255.0.0.0 and using the first 2500 ip addresses If there is a server with ip address 192.168.9.1, which pc would it reach faster in the above scenario? For me, i would say that scenario 1 would be faster than scenario 2 since scenario 1 has a smaller broadcast domain -- only 254 pcs vs. the 2500 pcs in the second scenario. Is my assumption correct?
