Hibernate and restore is even faster (Linux does not have the equivalent). Rock-solid stability. It has answered 2 main criticisms Linuxers have against Windoze (stability and boot-up time) plus offered some very compelling features Linux doesn't. And we have also seen how Linux is no longer immune to viruses. Practically speaking, the only remaining major area where Linux wins in is price.
But I think it's stupid to hold an OS in religious or mystical awe (and no, I'm not only referring to that Win XP post ;-). Perhaps in a couple more decades, when computers have become smarter than human beings and we let them tell us what to do instead of the other way around. _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
