no comment.

unthinking zealots - a strong word yet simple to say. but what is a
zealot? it is a fanatically commited person.... so what are they fanatically
commited to? it is *linux*.. therefore, they believe in linux... they love
linux... they will die for linux... no more no less... and it is worth
mentioning too that this is a linux mailing list....
now with the simple statement above, who is acting like an unthinking
zealot?
what is truth to you is not truth to them... can you even define what is
*truth*? if there is an *absolute truth* then we have one religion, one
belief, etc... this as goes as well with one operating system... one
programming language...
again, who is acting like an unthinking zealot? which led others to
imagine such a situation too..

no im not reacting defensively to your imagined scenario... the real
scenario going on is something like this.... you are a christian came to a
muslim territory and shouts christian rules! muslim sucks! it just like
christian is windows and muslim is linux... now what do you think as a
muslim zealot will do for a christian zealot? the simple answer? hot
delicious popcorn!
now go to windows mailing list and shout linux rules.. what do you
expect from windows group will do for you? the simple answer again? hot
delicious popcorn anyone?
again, who is acting like an unthinking zealot? that subconscioulsy
realize just how out of place you are too...

actually its not the phrase "windows rulez" bothered them but how you
persuaded this mailing list to believe in you that all what you said are
*true*... it just like follow me and ill give you victory... some of them
believe that the light at the end of a tunnel is a light from the sun but
unfortunately, majority here believes that the light you see is the light of
a train coming towards you.
im not a linux advocate nor a windows fanatic.. but i used them both
(not to mention other OSes too) and bring them together harmoniously...

yes but knows the boundaries too and that is what linux zealots are all
about here..

you have the freedom to know if i know nothing or i know something....
but what im hoping for you andy is simply *respect* the OS they loved.

fooler.
+ to know that one does not know - that is high wisdom. the fault of those
who make mistakes is that they think they know when they do not know.
