If you look at tpc.org, Microsoft solutions dominate the top results in the different benchmarks (followed by the big-iron commercial Unixes). Linux does manage to come first place in one of them but this seems to be the lone exception (and it's not even Linux/x86). How independent is TPC.org anyway? _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
