I suppose yung idea ng MVC (Model-View-Controller) sa
paghihiwalay ng Domain Objects (ie. the Model) from
its rendering (the View) ay pupuwedeng i-implement sa Zope
(or any other web application).

Pero IMHO, the MVC pattern (which is principally used
in the GUI environment) is not optimal pattern to use
for the web environment dahil sa assumption ng MVC ng
statefulness between the different components at ang
paggamit ng event-driven paradigm -- the better paradigm
to use for the web is that the application is more of a
'services' provider - may pinasa sa iyong parameters,
i-process mo, tapos i-balik mo yung resulta.

Of course, meron nag-susubok na gawin event-driven yung
mga web applications para mas maging kapareho ng GUI
applications yung mga web applications (see Jon
Udell's column sa Byte magazine regarding XMLDOM,
Javascript and event-driven web applications -
http://www.byte.com/documents/s=1816/byt20011128s0003/ )
pero hindi pa ito yung pinakamadalas gamitin...

HTH.

Cheers,

Butch

PS. Mukhang mas magandang ilipat ito sa Comp-Sci/Python lists
di ba?(see http://lists.free.net.ph/mailman/listinfo ), di na
ma-access yung ph-python list sa banwa.upm.edu.ph kaya meron
nang bagong python and comp-sci lists sa lists.free.net.ph
na itinayo si jijo ...
