In my personal experience - I have never written programs
(except of course trivial ones) that runs correctly the
first time - there was always a need for debugging - no
matter how much I've thought it out.   Even with databases,
there will always be modifications (fields I should have
put there - but have not, fields that were not supposed to
be there - etc. etc.).
