Quoting [EMAIL PROTECTED]: > Would it be possible in Debian to build everyhting from source (specially the > based system) with much ease as Sorcerer? I don't think so. Sorcerer sounds very much like FreeBSD's "make world", which of course in Linux, is radical and awesome (or is it?). This is one of those things I'll be playing around with this summer (I hope), together with more Python, wxPython, and real world work, of course. ;> > Sorcerer is a Distro for those who want to utilize the power of their current > hardware. That nightly magic of auto-downloading updates and rebuilding them sounds really neat. There's no telling: this might even prove to be awesome on servers where someone prefers Linux over FreeBSD for some reason or another. Remains to be seen, of course. Of course everyone can be sure I'll be ranting and/or raving when I finally give Sorcerer a shot. I invite those willing and capable to check it out. It's a small (<100MB) ISO download, and then after that you just get deltas and supposedly it can be automated. A cable or DSL connection should be enough (maybe I should get DSL for the house? Hehehe). The community will be waiting for local reviews. And maybe if we have more reviews we can set up a local community weblog system for such stuff, right? ;> --> Jijo -- Federico Sevilla III :: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Network Administrator :: The Leather Collection, Inc.
