I want a little more magic than that. ;) I'd like to be able to <tab>
browse to one copy of the ad, and on browsing that have all the other
copies automagically marked as read.

One way to do this is to merge my plug and ph-linux-newbie mailing
lists, telling mutt to treat same-subject messages as part of the same
thread, then using the mark-thread-as-read command to deal with it. Of
course there are only three crossposts so it's really not much of a
hassle to go through them all. =)
