hi marvs,

actually, there are a *lot* of non-newbies in the newbie list. 
the newbie list was specifically designed for that purpose: to help out with 
basic linux problems.  i think that's what jijo and xenos were trying to tell 
you.  the non-newbies there are even commited (required?) to answer newbie 
questions.  the newbie list would be useless if all the members were newbies 
themselves, diba?

so please avoid cross posting when you need help.  if you think it's a newbie 
question, please post it to the newbie list, if you think its an advanced 
problem, please post it to the main plug list.  if you're not sure, please 
post it to the newbie list.
