Need your advice on the following items if we are going to based it on our current setup: 1.) 800+ Computers all accessing Internet, mail, etc. 2.) Clone PC servers PIII : DNS, Mail and Proxy. (Linux )
Questions: 1. Does it really matter if you use clone computers rather than branded ones as your DNS, Proxy and Mail Server? 2. Do you recommend to have 2 DNS server? They say its recommended for good load balancing. It it true? 3. If Yes to #1. What specification would you recommend? 4. Are there any software that we can use in order for us to control , Internet Browsing , Downloading aside from filtering and firewalls? 5. Broadband Vs. Lease Line Internet Connection 6.
