Whoops! This should have been "... one of the 9 pin RS-232 CONNECTORS" and
not "... one of the 9 pin RS-232 cables".

I'd recommend that you use this procedure instead. Rewiring a pre-built
cable might prove easier for you than soldering wires into a RS-232
connectors(I've got burned hands everytime I do this :( )
