i have a debianish question. how do i create a debian apt repository using the debian CD ISOs? this is the issue.
i have a redhat machine that has an apt repository for RedHat 7.0, 7.2 and their corresponding updates mirrors from RedHat. i am experiment with apt for RPM and so far it works well. i am debugging some problems with it and submitting some patches. all in all looks like the thing is going to go to production in a week. however, i would also like to be able to make a debian apt repository. i would like to simply mount the ISOs and then do some magic to make it accessible as a repository. however, i do not know how that is to be done yet. maybe the next Xenos Tip-of-the-Day will about this. thanks! -- -------------------------------------- William Emmanuel S.
