I'm curious: how about install it using the packages (RPM or deb)? And I
wonder why you'd rather use xinetd. I recommend you launch the Courier
IMAP daemon stand-alone, instead. It has provisions for security, and
should scale much better with multiple connections (versus through some
superserver).
