Hello, If your asking if it's safe to upgrade, the answer is yes, because data is not lost when you upgrade. But it is always advisable to make backups of your important data before doing so.

I have an old system with Mandrake 7.x installed. I am just wondering if its possible to upgrade to 8.2 using the upgrade option and whether there will/is any problems with doing so. I know installing from scratch is faster however, I have some other non-standard programs and scripts installed which complicates things. > > Thanks. > -- Get your free email from www.linuxmail.org Powered by Outblaze _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
