hello,

is there a standard (X) way to specify in which desktop
a particular graphical program should start up in? or
if there's no standard, or the standard isn't followed by
many graphical programs, then how to specify the desktop
to display in for KDE and Gnome programs?

i'd like to start many applications from the KDE
AutoStart directory, but i'd like the applications to
be correctly distributed among the desktops rather
than all start in Desktop 1.

hehe, i asked google. i'm sure it knows the answer, but
it seems i'm having trouble framing the question right now.

thanks.
