i have here quadruple booting (w98, freebsd 4.5, linux 7.3 & solaris 8) on a
single disk... the main issue between linux and solaris is that, solaris
partition id is equal to linux swap partition id.. so therefore which ever
OS you install it first, the installer will confuse... what i did and i
trick the second OS installer is to manually remove the first OS partition
table inside the MBR sector only... but of course you must not allocate that
partition that is already allocated.. just leave it there as a blackhole so
that the second installer will see it as a free partition... later on after
the second OS installed, i manually return the partition table of the first
OS installed and alter the MBR appropriately.
