I've answered this question in enough detail a number of times already.
You may want to tap into the power resource we all call Google plus web
archives. Seriously, though, I did a search for some nice keywords limited
to lists.q-linux.com, and came up with, among others, this message from
myself to PLUG:

<http://lists.q-linux.com/pipermail/plug/2002-January/014695.html>

I hope that helps enough. If it doesn't, maybe my search pattern will:

<http://www.google.com/search?as_q=jijo+mgetty+AutoPPP&num=100&hl=en&btnG=Google+Search&as_epq=&as_oq=&as_eq=&lr=&as_ft=i&as_filetype=&as_qdr=all&as_occt=any&as_dt=i&as_sitesearch=lists.q-linux.com&safe=images>
