To the PLUG Community, I was able to use the tune2fs -j /dev/hda1 command on Sorcerer/GNU Linux 2.4.17(initially ext2) compiled with Ext3 kernel support to test changing from Ext2 filesystem to Ext3.
Just one command. Then edit the /etc/fstab. But how come, on RedHat 7.1, with 2.5.8 kernel, after recompiling the kernel to support Ext3, the tune2fs command didn't have the -j parameter which activates journaling? What did I do wrong? Or is something missing? I know kernel versions 2.4.16 and above support Ext3. Thank you. David Reyes __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
