Hi!

I'm using one and it does work under Linux. I've been using it for almost a 
year now and it works ok. It's cheap and that's basically what you get. The 
casing is thin and it has no speakers. Creative definitely cuts corners here! 
It looks puny and sounds puny too. Somehow, I never really got used to the 
squeaky-piercing sound modem blaster makes. Reminds me of my old winmodem. 
Well, at least, it's functional. But if you do have the extra bucks, go for 
US Robotics instead.

One more thing. I don't know if it's the ISP or my phone line or my 
modem. I never got dropped by my provider when I was using a borrowed 28.8 
kbps US Robotics modem. Happens quite often these days with my old 
"tr..rusty" modem blaster.
