Hello,

First, I'm sorry for cross-posting my message.

I was able to connect to my ISP last night but the problem is I can't browse
the web and can't connect to IRC using my LTSP server. I can ping my ISP's
IP Address using my HEADLESS box through SSH from my LTSP Server. But I
can't ping my ISP using directly from my LTSP Server. Is this an IPTables
issue? My home network setup is like this:

-----------------
   a. HEADLESS
-----------------
       |
-----------------
 b. LTSP SERVER
-----------------
       |
-----------------
 c. THIN-CLIENTS
-----------------

a. Complete address is pascual.freens.org (192.168.0.1). Intel Pentium
166Mhz, 8.4GB HDD @ 32MB RAM on Mandrake Linux 8.2 without X. Installed
packages are the IPTables, djbdns, qmail and OpenSSH. djbdns, qmail,
ucspi-tcp and daemontools were downloaded from http://cr.yp.to/ and
installed those packages from source.

b. Complete address is server.pascual.freens.org (192.168.0.2). Intel
Pentium III 800Mhz, 20GB HDD @ 512MB RAM on Mandrake Linux 8.2. Installed
packages are DHCP-Server, LTSP packages, OpenSSH-Client and nfs-utils.

c. Complete address are from ws001 to ws004 .server.pascual.freens.org
(192.168.0.3 to 5).

I was able to configure my qmail and djbdns correctly (I think). I can ping
the names and IP Addresses. SMTP and POP3 was configured properly (I
think). I followed the /var/qmail/doc/FAQ file. I created two (2) users to
the system/machine(a) where my qmail is installed and every users has
already the Maildir directory. I used the "Maildirmake" of qmail. I sent
an e-mail to my new account by "echo to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] |
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-inject" and it works fine.

What could be the problem?

Also, below are some of the cases that I still don't understand.

- How can I make my qmail and djbdns run during bootup?
- How will I make my Ximian Evolution on Mandrake Linux 8.2 and/or MS
Outlook on MS Win98 to work well with qmail?
- My server is not 24/7 connected to the Internet. What will happen to the
messages if there are people who sent e-mails to my account?
- I want to set basic IPTables rules/policies to Masquerade to my internal
network and that includes to my thin-clients; can access the Internet; and
no one can enter my network to my ppp0. How will I do this? I'm sorry, I
don't know IPTables yet.

Thanks in advance.
