When I copied my Counter-Strike Server server.cfg file from Windows to Linux, ganun din ang nangyari, di mabasa ng Cstrike binaries ang server.cfg file dahil sa mga codes na embedded sa file. Initially, I edit files in an X-enabled desktop environment such as KDE using Kate, Kedit.etc.. Then after reading a tutorial on vim, I switched to vim after becoming brave enough in its editing environment. So I hope SUPERMAN finally gets to editing his file with a Linux editor. If not, there'll always be Linux gui text-editors that SUPERMAN can rely. SUPERMAN, there are plenty of vim tutorials on the net. Try vim. You'll be amazed with its editing capabilities and time-saving shortcuts once you've learned it.
