Yes I did! Did it without going through the command-line! OpenOffice to
CUPS, Ximian Evolution to CUPS, KWord to CUPS, Opera 6.01 to CUPS.

The printouts were fantastic. The fonts and lay-out were exactly identical
to Windows since I imported my windows fonts using drakfont. I setup
my printer via Printerdrake in the Mandrake Control Center. I fooled
many people with the printouts who thought I did it with Windows,
hehehehe...

I might try GIMP to CUPS and Abiword to CUPS tonight. I'll also try
printing graphic files. I love CUPS!

Tomorrow I'll try sharing this printer using Linux Samba printer sharing.
I'll also try Windows shared printer --> Linux clients; and Linux Samba
print-server --> to Windows clients.

Other important information with my system
OS: Mandrake 8.2
Printer: HP Officejet R65
Printing service: CUPS

Regards,

mikol

PS. I can send scanned images of printouts if you like to see how it
looks.
