This sounds doable, but I am in absolutely no position to do it. We'll have to
convince Eric Rosel and his bosses (a lot of PLUGgers in there, they're taking
over the world) that it's worth their executive time. ;)

An alternative:

1. Grab the newbie sbuscriber list.
2. Mass subscribe them in the PLUG list. Mailman should identify and cancel out
dupes.
3. Point mailman aliases for the newbie list to the PLUG counterparts.

I haven't tried this of course, but it should work. I don't know what we do with
the archives, though.

To head what cell? Just curious.

Perhaps you mean "should ph-linux-newbie be collapsed and its subscribers merged
into plug"?

> - Should ph-linux-geek be created?

While lying in bed doing my best to recuperate from this awful bug that hit me,
I thought of yet another nitpick:

Does "unix-geeks" sound good? I'm thinking that since it'll cater to more
advanced discussions, anyway, why don't we make it open to cross-UNIX
discussions? I think a number of the more experienced peole on the list
administrate different unices, anyway, and there seems to be a lack of
discussion area locally for the BSDs et al.

Of course this will have to be approved by the board even more. There might be
something in the thrust (?) of PLUG as an organization that limits itself to Linux.
