Hello everyone! I'm new in this group and probably the only one in this group who doesn't know much bout linux. I wouldn't be surpirse if some of you will probobly want to kick me my butt out of this group. I just hope most of you wont.
So, why join anyway? For one simple reason, I want to LEARN linux. I know I love the software. I'm fascinated about its capability and its potential. And I thought that the best way for me to do that was to learn from the best people. To be honest, my knowledege is very, very limited. I went to some training centers offering some linux administration module but to my surprise it was VERY expensive. I'm not exactly Bill Gates who can easily pay for a P20,000.00 training. I'm even saving money just to have my 486 machine running. But I'm not cheap either. I'm willing to pay as long as I can afford it. I doubt if anyone would teach it for free. (hope there is one) So here I am hoping that someone out there would take the time to listen to my litany and help me learn linux. More power to you Guys!
