In most of the recent kernels inode-max is not existent because inodes are dynamically created in some kernels, the older ones you need to edit /usr/src/linux/fs/inode.c edit max_inode to something bigger and ( i got this from reading somewhere but i cant remember and i haven't tried it ) i just remember it must be set 3 times are nr_something :) hehehehe but if you are using the 2.4.18+ kernels im sure they are dynamically created :) hehehe you'll just need to tune file-max and system ulimits -Dek __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
