That's another term for portmapper aka portmap aka rpc.portmap.
In case you're not familiar with it, the Sun Microsystems portmapper
is a service used by NFS, NIS, and a long list of generally rather
obscure other network daemons, which get assigned ports by it.  (Thus
the name.)

It is a security liability, and should absolutely be disabled if you
don't need it.

6000 is almost certainly your X11 server.  7102, probably the X11 font
server.  You should make sure that those ports cannot be reached from
anywhere but localhost.
