thanks. i'll look into it. not for this project, i've found some
3270 servers out on the web and have tested x3270, so that part is
done. things are moving quickly and i'll probably get to work on
the real server by next week.
but i'll definitely look at Hercules. it's a good thing i just got my
hands on a spare box for playing with...
