By golly, that did it! Not as slick as CUPS but far more effective. I do have a
minor issue -- not exactly a problem -- no driver for the 610C, so I had to use
a non-color driver. Not a major stopper, since I rarely print color anywayz and
I do get b&w graphics. Thanks for the heads-up. While apsfilter has provided one
less incentive for me to get CUPS working, I'll still be at it now and then, as
time permits.
