Isn't this precisely the kind of thing the FSF should be attending to? At the very least, I'm aware that Nvidia and MS has respected it by removing GPLed code which, accdg. to them, were inadvertently added to their drivers and other software. But I'm also aware of at least one important case where enforcement of the GPL does not seem to have been carried through. This is in the case of Nusphere for which the latter has never released the source code for their Gemini table handler which of course, has to be combined with MySQL code... or maybe they did end up licensing MySQL code under proprietary terms (though I don't recall MySQL AB or Nusphere ever announcing that fact). _ Philippine Linux Users Group.
