Wait, I thought you said it was "viral" because "it infects all the code
combined with GPL-licensed code with the additional requirement that
they be offered under the GNU license as well."  

So, don't you mean that some FSF dark forces coerced Nvidia and
Microsoft Corporation into issuing their proprietary source code under
the GNU GPL?  Or have you failed to notice the contradiction in what
you've said?  

C'mon, Andy.  Be consistent for us.
