yeah, i've got one of those, 340Mb. i need more space though. also,
that drive is VFAT because it's shared by windows and linux (although,
i only use dualboot windows for playing a game [i use win4lin for
development] so i'll probably convert that to reiser or ext3. my
email is 120MB, and that's after deleting all mailing list email
after reading :).

yeah, i'm looking at a USB drive too. $169 for a 40G USB external.
can't afford it though. and it's USB 2.0, which my notebook doesn't
support, so i'd have to buy a USB 2.0 PCMCIA card for it too, the
costs get prohibitive :(. working on it, maybe my boss will buy
it :). thanks for the suggestions.
oh yeah, while we're on the subject of USB devices, are USB 2.0
external storage devices supported? which kernel versions?
if not, are USB 1.0 external storage devices supported? how
about USB 802.11b? i had a heck of a time working with 802.11b
PCMCIA although i've got that working now finally.
