IMHO.. i dont think so...changing distros wont do good either... security 
breach means lack in systems and network security and/or administration... 
[sorry for that.. : (  ] ... 
try to read the logs see how the hackers got in ur system... then u start from 
there..

subscribe at CERT to be updated on current service flaws...
read on lids, nids, and firewall....
