Yes, load balancing was more of what I had in mind, having your machine have 2 simultaneous connections in the internet (with different IP) instead of having 1 ip and having your 2 connections act transparently as if it were only one. Is there some kind of router/hardware that can automatically do this? I think there is, because there are some ISPs before that have, say, quad-DS3 connections, but the hardware to do this is probably very expensive :o
