;) It depends actually on what distro you're using. For example, in Redhat you are 
given a choice of ext3 and ext2 only (but there's an iso w/ xfs support if you intend 
to use xfs). In Mandrake, i guess the same also (since they're based on Redhat). 
Slackware 8.1 (i think) supports more filesystem options during installation. You are 
given a choice of reiserfs (default), ext3/ext2?, jfs, and xfs. Isn't it cool? ;)
