guys I need your advice. I am not sure if it is a Linux issue.
I am not sure what I am getting into but what filesystem should I use in
my fresh installation in order for me not to have no limit on the
file/table size. I read that ext2 have a 2 or 4gig limit. I preparing to
install RH7.3 and plan to use ext3. I read somewhere about ReiserFS but
I not sure if I needed it. I am basically configuring a server that will
have MySQL but I wanted to make sure my table can get big as 30GB on the
next 3 years. The database is sitting on an NT machine and it's 10GB and
we are ready to move it to RH7.3. What filesystem should I use to format
the drive assuming I will use MySQL? Is this a Linux OS issue or MySQL
issue.
